Moreover, Malaysia has the pool of talents, proven world-class content, successes with major international co-production partners, attractive government support and incentives, state-of-the-art infostructure and infrastructure; but not many have come to discover about one of the world’s best kept secret.
GCMA’s long-term goals would be to help the Malaysian contents and application industry to enhance “Creative Malaysia” as quality and reliable partner in content development and distribution, and improve its overall marketing awareness worldwide. To do this, GCMA in partnership with the government and the private sector willl be strategising an effective global marketing and promotional campaign for the growth and awareness of Malaysian digital contents and services through effective branding, public relations and media, global market access programmes, strategic partnership programmes, speaking opportunities in conferences, as well as encouraging the submissions of Malaysian programmes to international competitions, super pitches and film festivals.
